Beginning of Holy Week for the staff of the “San José” Betharramite College of Asunción
On Sunday 10 April, Palm Sunday, the "San José" Betharramite Parish of Asunción (Paraguay) solemnly celebrated the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week.
The celebration began with the blessing of palm trees in the courtyard of the “San José” College; subsequently the numerous faithful attending the celebration went in procession to the Parish Church where they participated in the Holy Mass presided over by the Bishop Claudio Silvero SCJ, Betharramite bishop emeritus of the Diocese of Encarnación, and concelebrated by the parish priest, Fr. Osvaldo Caniza SCJ, while Fr. Antonio Cano SCJ made himself available for confessions.
