On Tuesday 12 October, the Fr. Augusto Etchecopar Region, as per established tradition, held the meeting of the Community Superiors.

Beginning of month dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary

On Sunday 26 September the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Niem (Vicariate of Central African Republic) dressed up for the first Mass of the new priest (of the Diocese of Bouar) Abbé Alain Nzapa Ayeke, hailing from Ndongué Ladouane, a village belonging to the parish of Niem and entrusted to the pastoral care of the Congregation.

"Take your part in the joy of your lord." (Mt. 25:21) Today, 27 September, on the day of the 75th anniversary of religious profession, Fr. Giovanni Duca SCJ has returned to the Father's house. He was 94 years old.

Today, September 27th, Mrs Virginia Re, 72 years old, sister of Fr Natale Re scj of the Pistoia community (Vicariate of Italy), died.
Institution of the ministry of Lector in the scholasticate of Belo Horizonte
On Sunday 19 September Br. Aníbal Romero Moran SCJ, Br. Thiago Antônio Gordiano Sampaio SCJ and Br. Oscar Alberto Mendoza Jimenez SCJ of the Fr. Augusto Etchecopar Region were instituted Lectors.

Lector and Acolyte in Mangalore
15 September. On the feast day of Our Lady of Sorrows occurs the third Episcopal Ordination of the Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore, on that special day, three of our Brothers, namely Br. Packia Raj SCJ, Br. Avinash SCJ, Br, Pabitro SCJ were conferred the ministry of Acolyte and Br. Stephen R. SCJ was conferred the Lector by the Bishop.
18th anniversary of the founding of the FVD Group
On Saturday 11 September, in the formation house in Lambaré (Paraguay), the members of the FVD Group gathered around the altar of the Lord to share their joy for the 18 years of its foundation.

On the morning of 11 August, our Brother, Father Giuseppe Franchi SCJ, has returned to the Lord. Member of Ponte a Elsa community (Vicariate of Italy), Father Giuseppe was 76 of age and 55 years of religious profession.

Yesterday, Saturday 17 July, in the afternoon, Fr Franco Cesana SCJ, after a long illness, returned to the Father’s House.

Today, July 17, Fr. Carlo Ruti SCJ has died, in the hospital of Genzano di Rome. Fr Carlo was part of the community of Monteporzio Catone (Vicariate of Italy), and was 84 years old and 62 years of religious life.

Priestly ordinations in the Vicariate of Ivory Coast
On Saturday 3 July, on the square in front of the Cathedral Saint André of Yopougon (Ivory Coast), the priestly ordination of 8 young seminarians took place through the laying on of hands of Mgr. Jean-Salomon Lezoutié, Bishop of Yopougon.
End of the canonical visit of Fr. Gustavo
On Tuesday, July 6, Fr. Gustavo concluded the canonical visit to the communities in the Vicariate of the Central African Republic. The visit started on June 21st.
Vocation retreat in the Vicariate of Paraguay
On the days 2, 3 and 4 July, six young people coming from different parts of the country joined the “Come and see” Vocation Retreat.

Joyful events in Sampran
June 12 - Sampran community conducted a sports event and games on the occasion of Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This was an opportunity to welcome the Freshers to our community. It was a very interesting and joyful occasion.

On 11 June, on the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Br. Sergio Leiva SCJ made his perpetual vows in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Ciudad del Este (Paraguay).
