Fr Phairote SCJ: Silver Jubilee of First Profession and Farewell celebration
On 28th of May 2021, English Vicariate gathered together to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Fr Phairote SCJ at Sacred Heart community at Olton. The celebration began with Evening Prayer led by Br Gerard SCJ and it brought us together to pray for Fr Peter and his new ministry at Chiangmai our Mother House in Thailand. Various prayerful Intentions such as needs of the world , needs of our congregation were prayed.
After the prayer Fr Enrico Frigerio SCJ regional superior felicitated Fr Peter and thanked his availability and his ministry in England. Bruce and Breeda who lives in Solihull who are familiar faces not only to Fr Phairote but also to our Thai fathers and brothers were present. They shared one of the beautiful moments they had while they were at Mungam along with Fr Phairote and community. Fr Biju Antony on behalf of SCJ Olton community also felicitated Fr Phairote. Silver Jubilee celebration cake was cut and we wished Fr Phairote all the very best for his future. A sumptuous finger buffet was shared and this was the final touch to this lovely occasion.
