First profession in Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City - On April 26, during a solemn concelebration, our brothers, Br. Peter Do Van HUNG SCJ and Br. Nguyen Van THANG SCJ made their first profession.
The vows were received by Fr. Albert Sa-at Prathansantiphong SCJ, delegate of the Superior General and Priest-in-charge of the community in Ho Chi Minh.
Fr. Shamon Devasia scj, was also present along with many priests, religious men and women, friends and benefactors who are supporting the Betharramite mission in Vietnam.
Our best wishes to our young brothers. May this important stage in their life help them to conform themselves ever more to Christ "humble and obedient" and to "consecrate their life to him" (Rule of Life, 144).
