Feast of St. Michael Garicoïts in Betharram
Betharram May 14, 2021: Solemnity of St. Michael Garicoïts. Our brothers of the Vicariate of France-Spain celebrated the anniversary of the birth of our Founder in heaven, which took place on May 14, 1863, the feast of the Ascension.
In the morning there was a sharing on the theme of the joy of consecration and on the impediments that hinder the fulfillment of this joy.
The morning prayer was presided over by the Regional Superior, Fr. Jean-Luc Morin SCJ. The Eucharist was presided over by the Vicar General Fr. Jean-Dominique Delgue SCJ; a group of lay Betharramites was also present along with the faithful who regularly attend the Eucharist in the Shrine of Our Lady of Betharram.
After the fraternal lunch, the programme continued with the Vicariate Assembly and ended with the prayer of Vespers.
