Diaconate Ordination of Br. Akhil Joseph Thykkuttathil scj
On 29 May, in the chapel of the archbishop's house of Bangalore, Br. Akhil Joseph Thykkuttathil SCJ was ordained a deacon by Most. Rev. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore.
This event took place with a small number of participants because of the restrictions due to the pandemic.
The Regional Vicar in India, Fr. Arul Gnana Prakash SCJ and the Superior of the community of Bangalore, Fr. Anthony Siluvai SCJ were present at the ordination.
Together with Br. Akhil, 10 other young people were ordained deacons.
