Beginning of the year dedicated to Fr. Auguste Etchecopar in Betharram
On May 30, Sunday of the Holy Trinity, in the Shrine of Our Lady of Betharram, the opening of the year dedicated to the Servant of God, Fr. Augusto Echecopar, our third Superior General, was celebrated during the Holy Mass.
In the afternoon the community and the faithful prayed the rosary while walking along the way of the Cross that leads to the chapel of the Resurrection, where Fr. Etchecopar is buried.
Vespers were celebrated around his tomb.
