Beginning of the canonical visit of Fr. Gustavo to Brazil
Last week the canonical visit of the Superior General to the Ven. Fr. Augusto Etchecopar Region began by sharing the joy with the Vicariate of Brazil.
The Parish of Vila Matilde, in San Paolo, has "gone out" to carry out its usual service to the poor. The "Sopão" group (soup for the poor) every Wednesday distributes to poor people more than 100 portions of warm food, prepared in the parish. It is a silent service of charity towards the most marginalized in the city. Fr Luiz Enrique SCJ, parish priest, told Fr. Gustavo that from March 2020 (the beginning of the pandemic) to today, the parish has distributed more than six tons of food.
A small gesture made with great love, thanks also to the constant help of benefactors.
