The canonical year of novitiate of the St Miriam of Jesus Crucified Region begins
August 15 is a special day for India as it celebrates it's independence day. On this day, Our Mother Church celebrates the Assumption of our Blessed Mother.
On this auspicious occasion, the four Novices of St. Miriam Region (three brothers from Vietnam and one brother from Thailand) made their entry into the canonical year of Novitiate in the presence of Fr. Antony Siluvai SCJ, Superior of Shobhana Shaakha community (Bangalore) and Fr. Luke Kiriangsak, Superior of Sampran community (Thailand).
Rev. Fr. Xavier Manavath CMF, Episcopal Vicar for Consecrated Life, guided the five days retreat.
