The Parish of Albavilla celebrates Fr. Piero Trameri SCJ
Sunday, June 17, the "St Michael" Community and the Parish of Albavilla was decked out in festive decorations to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Fr. Piero Trameri SCJ, Regional Vicar in Italy, and the 40th anniversary of Fr Paolo Vesentini, Parish Priest of Albavilla.
Early in the , the community opened its doors to welcome the many faithful who did not want to miss this event and, in procession, reached the parish church for the solemn concelebration.
At the end of the celebration, Fr Piero expressed his gratitude to all those present, starting from the Parish Council that organized the event. He also took this opportunity to emphasize once again the presence of the Betharramite religious community in the Parish, with the hope that some young people would knock on their door, even just for a chat.
The celebration then moved to the youth centre (“Oratorio”) for the community lunch. In the afternoon at the parish Cinema, among other events, a letter sent to Fr Piero by Fr. Tiziano Pozzi SCJ (Regional Vicar in Central Africa), was projected on the screen.
