Passing the flame in the Archdiocese of Rabat
On December 29, 2017, Pope Francis accepted the resignation of our brother, Mgr. Vincent Landel SCJ, as Archbishop of Rabat, due to age limits. On the same date, the Pope appointed as Archbishop of Rabat Fr. Cristóbal López Romero, SDB, until now Provincial of the Salesian Province of Maria Auxiliadora in Spain.
On March 10, there took place in the Cathedral of Rabat, the Episcopal ordination of the new Archbishop who officially began his episcopal ministry on the same day.
To celebrate this ecclesial event and to wish farewell to Mgr. Vincent Landel, the bulletin of the Diocese "Ensemble" dedicated the March issue to describe the experience of Mons Landel over these past years and to introduce the figure of the new Pastor.
