From July 2 to 6, we reflected and shared on our consecration through Vows. Fr. Gaspar did it in an interesting way and helped us to understand the anthropological and spiritual aspects of the Evangelical Counsels. On Saturday, we visited the Betharram caves and in the evening, we joined the sisters of Bethlehem for the vespers. Lately, we welcomed three young people from Pau (Nelly, Yoan and Jacques) who will participate in Katiola's mission at the end of July. We listened to them and shared with them our experiences on how to live our faith in our different regions.
From July 9 to 13, we visited Cambo, Anglet, Bayonne, Loyola and Javier. It was a fruitful visit under the guidance of Fr. Gaspar. In Loyola, we were happy to deepen the spirituality of Saint Ignatius, who inspired our Betharramite spirituality too. In Javier, we admired the zeal and missionary spirit of St. Francis Xavier. We express our gratitude to our Betharramite communities of Anglet and Hondarribia (Mendelu) for giving us accommodation. We took this opportunity too to swim a bit at the beautiful beach of Fontarrabie. On Friday morning, Fr. Gaspar finished his stay with us and helped us to deepen on the theme of Charism and Mission of Betharram.
