Echoes of the canonical visit of Fr Gustavo in the Vicariate of Italy
From 27 February to 4 March the Superior General, Fr. Gustavo Agín scj, made the canonical visit to the Betharramite communities of Tuscany (Italy)
The Betharramite communities of Tuscany have been present in this region for 40 years. Arrived in Ponte a Elsa in 1978, the Betharramites are still doing their ministry in the Parishes of Ponte a Elsa, Brusciana, Isola and Roffia.
The Superior General met Fr. Albino De Giobbi scj, Fr. Giuseppe Franchi scj and Fr. Tiziano Molteni scj on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 of this month, arriving from Pistoia where he had met the Religious who have been present for two years in Saint Francis Parish: Fr. Natale Re scj and Fr. Simone Panzeri scj (who are also in charge of the hospital chaplaincy and of the diocesan youth center).
In these days Fr Gustavo made contact with the daily life of the Betharramite communities living their Here I am in day to day ministry made of joys, difficulties and hope.
On the evening of March 1, Fr. Gustavo also met the youth of the "BetharrAmici" group.
