Youth Summer Camp
From March 26 to April 2, the Betharramite "Holy Family Catholic Center" opened the doors to welcome a hundred or so young people arrived from the mountain villages to attend this week-long course of catechesis.
The theme of week was "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." All the events were inspired by these words of the Gospel: meetings, time for reflection and prayer, and entertainments.
The summer camp was planned, organized and managed by the personnel of the Ban Pong Centre, led by Fr John Chan SCJ, superior of the community, Fr. Peter Mayoe SCJ and Fr Alberto Pensa SCJ.
The week ended with a solemn celebration presided by Mgr. Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana, bishop of Chiang Mai, during which he administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to some youths.
