Spiritual Exercises for the Religious of the Vicariate of Thailand
From 12 to 18 of November, the religious of the Vicariate of Thailand held the annual retreat in the Headquarters of the Vicariate, in Chiang Mai, under the guidance of Fr. Somyot Thepsamut, a Capuchin, who helped our brothers to enter more deeply into the spirituality of the religious life: charity, chastity, poverty, and obedience.
On November 14, all the religious of the Vicariate along with a group of about 200 people, celebrated a Thanksgiving Mass to remember with gratitude the life of Fr. Raimondo Perlini scj, who spent more than fifty years in Thailand.
In fact, Fr. Raimondo arrived in Thailand in 1963 and returned to Italy in 2016 where, on October 7, 2017, at the age of 80, he ended his “earthly pilgrimage”.
The celebration was presided by the new Regional Vicar of Thailand, Fr Chan Kunu.
