Priestly ordination of Alcides Riveros Diaz SCJ
On March 25, the day of the “Here I am” (Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord), the city of La Colmena (Paraguay) was dressed to the nines.
In fact Fr. Alcides Riveros Diaz SCJ, a native of this place, was ordained as a priest.
The ordination Mass, concelebrated by many betharramite religious and the emeritus bishop Claudio Silvero SCJ was presided over by the emeritus bishop Ignacio Gogorza SCJ.
The newly-ordained priest recalled with gratitude and emotion his own vocational journey, emphasizing the value of his family “of poor and humble condition”.
May the Lord make him a shepherd according to His Heart.
