Turnover of religious in the Parish of Pistoia
On Wednesday, October 4, feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Bishop Fausto Tardelli, Bishop of Pistoia, presented to the community Fr Simone Panzeri SCJ as the new parish priest.
The solemn celebration was attended by Fr Natale Re SCJ, many other priests of the city, some authorities and many faithful.
At the end of the celebration, as per tradition, the mayor of the city lit a votive lamp before the relics of the Patron Saint of Italy.
The celebration ended in the chapter hall of the cloister of the convent in the presence of a group of young people belonging to the "Betharramici" group - they wanted to be present at this meaningful event.
