Training workshop for health workers
On the initiative of Br Angelo Sala SCJ, both superior of the betharramite formation community ”St Michel Garicoits” in Bouar and health center responsible, the last Saturday, May 21 it was held, in a room next the Bouar cathedral, a training day for the staff and management of HIV-AIDS health centers of Bouar area.
This training session was created and prepared taking into account the national guidelines either for the prevention and treatment of HIV or the management of malaria cases in Central African Republic.
The speakers were Dr. Giovanni Gaiera, doctor specialized in infectious diseases as HIV and AIDS and advisor at the St. Raffaele Hospital in Milan, which has been following and working with the "Saint-Michel" center for many years and Dr. Ione Bertocchi, who is the Department of Health responsible in Central Africa for more than 30 years.
