Solemnity of St. Michael and Sacred Heart in Hojai
In preparation for the Solemnity of St. Michael our founder father, the community of Hojai had Monthly recollection lead by Fr. Matthew, the Diocesan Administrator, on the theme “The Spirituality of Availability of Mother Mary and St. Michael”on 13th May.
The Parish community had the solemnity of St. Michael Garicoits on 14th with the children and the parishners presided by Fr. Matthew.
In honour of the Mercy year, the parish community also had “The Mercy Procession” on 18th.
On 19th Fr. Arul and Fr. Jesu Raj celebrated their Ordination Anniversary with the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration with the neighboring priests and the children.
The Students of the school had the Environment Day with planting of saplings and seminar on Saving the Mother Earth by the environmental activists on 25th.
On 31st May the parish community had the solemn Rosary procession in honour of the Marian Month and devotion to Mother Mary.
The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart was solemnized by the Eucharistic Celebration by the Archbishop of Guwahati Most Rev. John Moolachira on 3rd June.
