On June 20, in the house of the regional novitiate in Adrogué, Fr Gerard Badie SCJ returned to the Father's House.
This is how Fr Gustavo Agin SCJ, the Regional Superior, has just broken the news:
“At the age of 91 years the Patriarch of the novitiate has just gone to the Father’s House; in recent times we could see that his health was declining.
His life, full of generosity, totally committed to the evangelization both in Paraguay and in Argentina and Uruguay has become an offering pleasing to God.
I invite you all to pray for the repose of the soul of our brother who for all those who knew him, has been an image of Jesus humble and obedient.
