Novitiate Activities
The month of December 2015 & Januarary 2016, was a time of thanksgiving and blessing for various reasons. The second year novices Brothers Rajendra Kumar, Anton Joshua, Tanith James, Rawee Peter& Akhil Joseph completed their one month of Igantian Retreat in Kerala and returned refreshed and re-energised. We also made a short pilgrimage to St. Alphonsa and St. Chavara at Kerala.
At the same time our first year novices Brothers. Wichai Peter, Joseph Packiaraj, Sharath Chandra & Wilbur Mark Dias had been for a week of mission exposure to St. Antony’s Church Yedavanhalli, which is in the outskirts of Bangalore, under the spiritual care of the Betharram fathers. Sessions on the Letters of our father St. Michael Garicoits was animated and guided By Fr. Charles Enaikus SCJ & Fr. Rojo Thomas SCJ. We specially thank Frs. Rojo & Sathish for their Hospitality during our stay in their parish.
We had a fruitful and spiritual Christmas and new Year celebration as we spent time in personal reflection and adoration and joined our neighbouring parish for the Vigil Service. We also made our annual pilgrimage to Infant Jesus Shrine Viveknagar, Bangalore and joined in the Novena celebration praying for our family of Betharram & our own Intentions. Our second year novices began their community Experiences from January 2nd at different places.
