On 5 th and 6th December the English Vicariate members gathered together in Nympsfield for the Advent togetherness day.
General Superior's visit to the Holy Land Vicariate
From December 6 to 16, the Superior General, Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez SCJ, carried out the canonical visit to the Holy Land Vicariate.

December, 20 - This morning, at 7:30, after a long illness, Fr Enrique Lasuén SCJ died. Fr Enrique, the dean of Fr Augusto Etchecopar Region, was an inspirational figure of the Regional Scholasticate of Belo Horizonte (Brazil).

Priestly ordination of Br Juan Pablo García Martínez SCJ
On December 8, in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Barracas (Argentina), Br Juan Pablo García Martínez SCJ was ordained as a priest by the laying on of hands of Mgr Ignacio Gogorza SCJ, betharramite Bishop Emeritus of Encarnación.
Gathering of seminarians in Beit Jala
On November, 6, there was a gathering of seminarians in Beit Jala and the novices of the St Michael Garicoits Region were also invited along with their Master, Fr. Jean-Paul Kissi SCJ.
Fraternel n. 75 - December 2016
It was published the new edition of the bulletin of the Fraternity "Me Voici", the group of Betharramite laity of the Vicariate of France and Spain.
The betharramite mission in the Central African Republic turns 30.
The 1984-1985 Chapter of the Italian Province had called for the opening of a mission ad gentes which would be linked directly to the Province itself; the 1986 Chapter decided to, “consider favorably the request of the Bishop of Bouar asking to establish a Betharramite community in his Diocese.”

It was published the new edition of the bulletin of the Association "Amici", for the missionary animation of the Vicariate of Italy.
Monthly recollection
On 10th of November our community had the monthly recollection led by Fr. Veerasak Supaperm a MC priest.
Towards the General Chapter
Since November, 17, the General bursar, Fr. Graziano Sala scj, has been in Asuncion (Paraguay) to begin the preparations for the next General Chapter which will be held there from 6 to 24 May 2017.
