Happy Teachers Day!
As per tradition, on January 16 the '' Holy Family Catholic Centre "(Bang Pong, Thailand) celebrated the" Wan Wai Kru ".
The "Wan Wai Kru" is the day when school organizes a special ceremony in which students show respect to their teachers and thank them for their dedication and commitment to give them education.
The day started at 7 am with a prayer session with the teachers. In the morning the children and young people prepared their greeting cards; in the evening Father Alberto Pensa SCJ presided over the Eucharistic Celebration for the teachers, in the mission chapel.
This was followed by the "thanksgiving ceremony" and the presentation of the cards prepared by the children. This was a very simple and significant moment for the pupils to thank those who daily take care of them.
