Happy anniversary, Fr. Tobia!
On 3 January, Fr Tobia Sosio scj, member of the general council, who is carrying out his mission in the San José College in Asuncion (Paraguay), celebrated his Golden Jubilee of religious life and 40 years of priestly ordination, in the Parish church of Semogo (Italy).
His brother, Fr Carlo scj, and other brothers and family members were also present. We offer Fr Tobia our congratulations and we pray that his ministry may always be fruitful. We share the reflection Fr Tobia made when he announced the celebration: “Thanks to this ecclesial event, may the Lord awaken new vocations in a village that, after giving so many priests and religious to the Church, seems to have stopped… But God’s voice keeps calling and trying to overcome the indifference of so many hearts. Kind regards to everybody”.
