Betharramite community entrusted with a new parish
Saturday, October 7, the Bishop of the Diocese of Pistoia entrusted e Betharram Community with the pastoral care of a Parish in the city of Pistoia.
With a solemn concelebration in the Parish Church Saint Francis pf Assisi, Mgr Fausto Tardelli, Bishop of Pistoia, presided the installation of Fr Maurizio Vismara scj as a Parish priest and Fr Simone Panzeri scj as assistant Parish priest. The Betharram community takes over from the Franciscan friars whose presence in this Church goes back to the 13th century. The Superior General, Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez, his Vicar and Fr Pietro Villa took also part in the concelebration. We wish our brothers a rich spiritual ministry.
