An exhibition in honor of the religious of Betharram
From May to December 2015 a photo exhibition dedicated to the mission carried out by the Religious of Betharram in Yunnan in the course of thirty years, was held in Dali (China).
We received the news from Mr Henri de Verbigier, friends of Frs Pierre Leborgne SCJ and Mirco Trusgnach SCJ. He writes: "I was impressed, after traveling to Yunnan in 2001 with my wife. We have also made a small report, which was published in the journal "Feuilles de Betharram" at the beginning of 2002. I am fascinated by the connection between the photos and the memories of several fathers about their stay in China (Fathers Lacoste, Carraro, Séguinotte, the mission report, the account of their departure from France, the periods of persecution (1950 -52), etc ... (...) The fact that an exhibition was held in the new museum in Dalì, seems to be an appreciation of the work done by these missionaries.”
