Then after the First Vespers there was a meditation on the Calvary of Betharram followed by a celebration of the sacrament of reconciliation.

Saturday, May 14 morning, the day of the solemnity of St. Michael Garicoits, there was a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided by H. E. Mons. Hervé Gaschignard, Bishop of Dax, concelebrated by many religious and attended by many lay people; in the afternoon, after the lunch, Anne-Christine (Betharramite lay associate) held a lecture entitled: "1616-2016: 400 years of the Betharram Calvary, from the miracle of the cross to the Way of the Cross".
