Vocation promotion

Br Gilbert Napétien Coulibaly SCJ, in his short presentation of the Congregation and consecrated life, tried to guide these young people, who wish to make a discernment, to identify the obstacles present in their inner life. After that, he made himself available to answer different questions. Replying quite openly to their questions he emphasized that religious life is such a beautiful call from God that it cannot be considered as a kind of shelter where one can find all kinds of material goods or a way to raise one’s social status.

He stressed in a special way that the religious is a person guided by God to follow more closely the Gospel in the footsteps of Christ; a person called and sent out to the world but constantly turned to God; a person who owns nothing and who does not live according to his/her will.

The meeting ended with the Evening Prayer.
