Pau celebrates Saint Mary of Jesus Crucified (2)
On May 23, in the Chapel of the former Carmel of Pau, as part of the celebrations in honor of St. Mary of Jesus Crucified, three Betharram Fathers gave a lecture on the newly canonized Saint.
Fr Laurent Bacho traced the historical aspect of the life of Sister Mary of Jesus Crucified; Fr Beñat Oyhénart SCJ explained her close links with the Carmel and the Betharram Fathers. Finally Fr Pierre Grech SCJ, former Superior General of the Betharram Congregation, shared some interesting insights on the spirituality of Sr Mary of Jesus Crucified. The workshop was chaired by Fr Jean-Dominique Delgue SCJ, Regional Vicar of France and Spain.
