Fr. Jesuraj SCJ was installed as the Parish Priest of Mukthi Data Shrine Hojai (India)

On 20th of September Rev. Fr. Jesuraj Scj of the Hojai community was installed as the Parish Priest of Mukthi Data Shrine Hojai by His Grace John Moolachira , the Archbishop of Guwahati, Assam.

The Archbishop was the main celebrant of the Holy Eucharist in which Fr. Jesuraj was installed as newly appointed parish priest. It is also noted that Fr. Jesuraj is the youngest parish priest of the diocese.

Religious Priests, Sisters and Neighboring Parish Priests were part of the celebration. After the mass, the Archbishop and the new parish priest were felicitated by the parish community.

As part of the social welfare ministry of the community of Hojai, Fr. Arul the Principal was able to make the catholic Christians to receive the Government schemes.

Thus, during the felicitation the Archbishop  handed over the Tailoring machines, Spraying machines and a Cycle Rickshaw to the poor parishioners that were given by the Government for the Minorities.

At the end of the programme, Fr. Jesuraj expressed his gratitude and the sentiments of the day. The celebration came to an end with a fellowship meal.
