February - a short but eventful month in Mangalore
The month of February had been a month of blessing for the community and the family of Betharram.
A three days Retreat was organized for the aspirants , under the guidance of Rev. Fr. John Chan SCJ. The community also organized a Lenten retreat for the youths from the neighbouring parishes which was guided by Rev. Fr. Biju Anthony SCJ & Members of the Divine Retreat Centre from Potta (Kerala). We also welcomed the new postulants of the Apostolic Carmel Convent (Mary Hill). The community also conducted a retreat for Catholics and Non- Catholics students of Carmel Central School. We also experienced the warmth and love of our dear companions Ms Emilia and Mrs Laura from Italy, who were staying with us for some time. We had the official visit of the Episcopal Vicar for religious Rev. Fr. Pius James D’Souza, who enlightened us on the theme of Consecrated Life.
