Days of recollection for the Betharramite Lay Association “Fraternité Me Voici" of France
On March 14 and 15, the Lay Association "Me Voici" organized a few days of recollection in a Cistercian monastery at Boulaur, in the Diocese of Auch. They were joined by other lay people who are not members of the fraternity, but they area linked to Betharram through bonds of friendship.
The reflection was guided by Fr Jean-Luc Morin SCJ, Regional Superior of the Region of St. Michael Garicoits, and the topic was the one chosen by the Association for this pastoral Year: “Let yourself be surprised by the tenderness and meekness of the Heart of Jesus. "
On Saturday evening, Fr. Jean-Dominique Delgue SCJ, Regional Vicar for the Vicariate of France and Spain, shared with the laity the project of the Vicariate aimed at involving the lay people in carrying out some specific services side by side with the religious communities.
The Religious of the Vicariate want to walk side by side with the laity, in order to help each other to respond to the respective vocations as lay people and as religious.
For this, the year dedicated to the consecrated life is a favorable time to go a long way in the right direction.
