Christmas celebrated in advance …

The Betharram Seminary, Mangalore celebrated Christmas in advance on December 8, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Mary.

India - Mangalore

The celebration began with a solemn Eucharistic celebration which was presided over by Rev. Fr. Biju Paul SCJ, the Regional Vicar of the Betharram Fathers and concelebrated by a number of priests. Many lay associates of Betharram were present and added colour to this Celebration.

The Holy Eucharist was followed by a sound and light programme based on theme “A Pilgrim Christmas” in which the nativity of Jesus and the Spirituality of our Congregation was being blended together with a message showing that every Christian is placed as pilgrims on this earth. The programme was also in collaboration with the Mount Carmel Ward, St. Lawrence Parish, Bondel. The Christmas Message was delivered By Captain Prasad (President of CASK) and Rev. Sr. Liseria AC (Former Assistant Superior General). Toward the end, the Calendar for 2015 and the Christmas Cards which was prepared by the members of this congregation was released.
