A busy month of March
The month of March has been a month of blessing for the family of Betharram in Mangalore.
On 12th, Rev. Fr. Godfrey Saldalha, Parish prist of Neermarga(Diocese of Mangalore) visited our community and he gave a very interesting and enriching lecture on Consecrated Life.
On 16th, Fathers and Brothers from Holy Trinity Seminary visited our community. On this day we also had a farewell programme for Sr.Lucy and Fr. Luke SCJ as they were heading towards Bangalore community. Our novices also spent a couple of weeks with our community and this added color and life to our family here.
On 17th we anticipated celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph which was presided over by Fr. John Chan and concelebrated by our fathers. At the end of the Holy eucharist, our annual magazine-"Marian Voice 2015" was released by Mrs. Corrine Rasquinha, founder of White Doves NGO.
On 29th, we had Palm Sunday celebration and a One Day Lenten Retreat for parishioners from Rosario Cathedral (Diocese of Mangalore) which was lead by Fr. Biju Antony Panthalookaran SCJ and team from Divine Retreat Centre.
March, 30th was the end of the academic year, our brothers left for their two months of Summer ministries to Bangalore and Kerala.
