When half way through the journey of our work....
The Council of the Congregation continued his fruitful work in a peaceful and fraternal atmosphere.
On Tuesday, January 20, Fr Gaspar Fernandez, (our Superior General), Fr Biju Paul ( Regional Vicar of India) and Fr. Javier Irala ( Regional Vicar of Paraguay ) , on behalf of the whole Council of the Congregation concelebrated the Eucharist with Pope Francis at Santa Marta. This expressed the unity of the whole Congregation with the Pope and helped us to live the meeting as an ecclesial event.
All the resolutions taken by the 2011 General Chapter were read out by the Superior General and their implementation was assessed by the Regional Superiors and their respective Regional Vicars.
The meeting was wound up with a solemn concelebration on Saturday, January 25.
