The Indian Companions of Betharram on a pilgrimage to Betharram and Rome
5 August - Fr Stervin scj has sent this message from Pau.
"It was our joy to welcome and to accommodate in Betharram and in Rome (from 26th July - 01st August) the first Indian 17 companions from Mangalore. They were on a pilgrimage in Europe and especially to participate in the Feast of Our Lady of Betharram. Fr. Austin Hughes came all away from England to give them a warm welcome and to lead them to walk in the footsteps of St. Michael Garicoits in Betharram and in the footsteps of St. Bernadette in Lourdes. Fr. Enrico welcomed them in Rome on behalf of the General and his council and explained them the history of Our Lady of Miracles. Altogether, they said, it was an experience of lot of joy and enriching."
