The Feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Mother and the 68th Independence Day of India
The Mangalore Community with joy and thanksgiving celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Mother and the 68th Independence Day (Birthday of the Nation).
They had a solemn evening prayer on August 14th and a thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration which was followed by the unfurling of the National Flag by Fr. George Anthony Scj. The whole community was full of joy.
This is the Message the Community could draw from Today's Celebration:
