The canonical visit to the Vicariate of Thailand
June 2 - Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez SCJ, the Superior General, arrived in Thailand and Fr Jiraphat, along with the brothers at ban Garicoits, gave him a warm welcome.
We are glad of his presence among us. He started by meeting the six Scholastics and the two brothers who enter the noviciate and will be part of the community during Fr Gaspar’s stay.
We would like to express our gratitude to Fr Pensa, who stayed with us and was the translator during the three days of canonical visit.
Fr Gaspar also gave a talk to the brothers on the topic “The life of saint Michael and the specific formation of the Betharram congregation”. His visit gave us courage and confidence in living our vocation and we would like to say “thank you very much!”.
