Thank you, Fr Laurent!
Sunday, September 14, the Vicariate of Ivory Coast and the Parish community of Adiapodoume paid tribute to Fr Laurent Bacho scj for the mission carried out in the Vicariate of Ivory Coast.
The farewell Mass was presided over by Fr Laurent, surrounded by all the religious of the Vicariate of the Ivory Coast, some diocesan priests and the members of the Regional Council (along with Fr Hervé Kouamé scj, Regional Vicar for the Ivory Coast and Fr Jean-Luc Morin scj, Regional Superior, Fr Aldo Nespoli scj, Regional Vicar for Italy and Fr Jean-Dominique Delgue scj, Vicar for France and Spain were also present).
At the end of the celebration, the whole assembly led by Fr Laurent, went to the residence of the community to bless the new retreat house dedicated to “Fr Laurent Bacho”; the construction is still going on. The celebration ended with a dinner, and a concert with traditional songs and dances.
