Success of the summer missionary exhibition at Bormio.
Like every year, for two weeks in the month of August, was held at Bormio, Valtellina, the traditional missionary exhibition, organized for the first time by “ AMICI”, the newly formed Association.
Posters and brochures were prepared to illustrate and publicise the ongoing projects in the Betharramite missions.
Many handmade articles were displayed and offered for sale. Most of them were made by artisans in Africa and Asia: Christmas cribs, small statues, musical instruments, paintings, vases; and also bags made by the girls of "Ban Konthip" (“fairy hands house”) living in the "Holy Family Catholic Centre" of the betharramite mission in northern Thailand.
Although the weather was not very mild for the entire period, in a few days a good number of visitors turned out.
All in all, it was a valuable opportunity to see friends and benefactors, and thank them for their generous and continuous support they have been giving along these years.
