Inauguration of a new seminary in Mangalore (India)
Mangalore, September 10 - This day will remain in the hearts of our Betharramite brothers in India for a long time. In fact, there was the blessing and inauguration of the new formation house! A dream come true!
The Superior General, Rev. Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez scj, cut the ribbon at the entrance and Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D'Souza, Bishop of Mangalore, blessed the house.
Fr Enrico Frigerio scj, Vicar General, unveiled the memorial stone in memory of the blessing and inauguration of the house and Fr Austin Hughes, Regional Superior, unveiled the stone on which was carved the logo of the 150th.
The day was blessed with the presence of the guests, including the "Companions of Betharram", religious superiors, neighboring communities and benefactors.
