Grand celebration for the dean of the Congregation!
Saturday, March 15 brothers, relatives, friends and staff of the "Maison de retraite" of Betharram celebrated the 104th birthday of Fr Joseph Canton SCJ, dean of the Congregation.
After the Eucharistic celebration, all the guests gathered for a toast to friendship. Mr. Berchon, Mayor of Lestelle-Betharram ended his speech with a “see you again next year to blow out the 105th candle!” Immediately Fr Canton quipped with a smile his reply "If it is God’s will ... and my legs’ too!”
