Closing of the Jubilee Year in honor of St. Michael Garicoïts in Italy

The Eucharistic Celebration on May 14 in the Parish of Lissone was a family event for Betharram: Mons Garascia, Episcopal Vicar for the Monza area presided over the Celebration attended by many lay people who are involved in the mission of Betharram.
With the idea of "linking " together the various betarramite pieces of Italy , a " traveling " photo exhibition was also set up in the parishes , entitled " Betharram : a place, a man , a vision ." Landscape pictures of Betharram, taken by the French photographer Jean -Jacques Stockli , are coupled with captions describing St. Michael Garicoïts and his "vision" of the congregation. The exhibition, planned by the new center Betagorà has already visited the parishes of Lissone and Albiate;  it can still be visited at Castellazzo di Bollate ( at the Church of St. William on 23-25 May) and St. Hilary in Milan ( May 31 and June 1) . From June to October the exhibition will be in the betarramite parishes of central Italy.
At Albiate on May 17, Betagorà released  three interesting books : Fr Ercole Ceriani spoke about the book "Signed: Garicoïts ," the Italian translation of some letters of St. Michael ,all are “food for prayer” ; Fr Mario Longoni presented "Until the end. Italian Betharramites in the world of health care” , and finally Fr Trameri touched on the history of Betharram presenting a short biography of Saint Michael Garicoits.
