Assembly of the Vicariate of Paraguay

On Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 March, the religious of the Vicariate of Paraguay gathered in Lambaré at the retreat house of "Our Lady of Betharram" for their Assembly. 16 religious were present under the guidance of the Regional Superior, Fr Gustavo Agin sCJ.

The Assembly was marked by several events: the keynote speech was delivered by Father Javier Irala, Regional Vicar of Paraguay; a reflection on the Apostolic Exhortation "Evangelii Gaudium" by Pope Francis was led by Fr Angel Perez of the Claretian Congregation; two more items were on the agenda: evaluation of the project of the Vicariate, and the election of Delegates to the regional Chapter to be held in July this year in Paraguay.
An atmosphere of brotherhood and simplicity was there throughout the meeting.
