Assembly of the Vicariate of England
On 1st and 2nd of December 2014 the English Vicariate held the Vicariate Assembly at the Marist Retreat Centre, Nympsfield.
The special assembly reflected the articles in the Rule of life which are drawn from those covering the Regional Chapter and the Vicariate Assembly. Its main purpose was to examine the progress made since the 2011 General Chapter in advancing the direction of the Chapter. Fr. Austin Hughes SCJ, the regional Superior of Blessed Miriam opened the Assembly and led the discussions.
The main themes dealt during the assembly were the following; Lively and Fraternal Communities, Vocation Animation, Economy of Communion, International Missionary Fraternity, Misson at Home and Permanent Formation.
