A group of parishioners of Pibrac on a pilgrimage in the footsteps of St. Michael Garicoïts
On April 5 - 6, fathers Emmanuel and Jean-Marie led a group of parishioners of Pibrac on a pilgrimage to Betharram, on the occasion of the Jubilee Year in honor of St. Michael Garicoïts.
Departure from the Grotto of Lourdes, walk through the forest of Lourdes, Rieulhès and St-Pé de Bigorre, then visit of Bétharram: places related to the Betharram religious family. Prayer Vigil in the oratory of the “room of souvenirs”. Sunday morning climbing to the hill of Calvary, a time of prayer and sharing in the Chapel of the Resurrection. Lastly, celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the chapel of Our Lady of Betharram. All the pilgrims enjoyed this time of renewal and sharing and were invited to say again their “Here I am”. “Never give up, always ahead. Give us too the strength to go forward”.
