“Following the footsteps of the Betharramite Missionaries”
On October 29-31, the Blessed Miriam Region organized in Thailand an International Gathering for young people hailing from the three Vicariates: England, India and Thailand.
Around 70 young people, guided by Thai Betharramite Religious, visited the most meaningful places where the first Betharramite missionaries carried out their mission. The gathering aimed also at reviving interest for Betharram, preparing the ground for future vocations to Betharramite religious life, showing the missionary thrust present in the whole Region, facilitating the exchanges among the three Vicariates. This is the reaction of one of the participants: “Going home I will convey our message about the work of the missionaries and share this love, this joy and this faith with all my friends. I would like to tell my friends about Betharram. God loves us all regardless of our cultures, language and nationality. -We have to carry on our faith, learn to love and go forward to help each other”.
