The Ss John and Martin Parish Church hosts an Ecumenical event: the signing of the Covenant

On September 29, Churches together in Balsall Heath (Birmingham, United Kingdom) have signed a covenant to work together to bear a Christian witness in this area in planned events throughout the year.

The signing of the Covenant in Balsall Heath (Birmingham)

This event although it takes place in England is unique because these are very diverse Churches who will work together. White Churches and Black Churches. They are  Catholic, Church of England(Anglican), Baptist. Wesleyan Holiness, God of Prophecy and United Reform Churches (Calvinist). This event took place in Ss John and Martin Parish Church, run by Fr Dominic Innamorati scj.
Various Christian Traditions can be seen in the pictures: God of Prophecy Choir is singing in the Service. You can see our Vicar General, here on behalf of our Archbishop, The Anglican Bishop of Birmingham and other leaders of the other Churches signing the Covenant. You may note the lady Anglican priest speaking with me and one of my Youth representatives; Aleah to those who know her.
