New meeting of BetharrAmici in Montemurlo (Italy)

Sunday, May 26 the BetharrAmici [Betharram Friends] gathered in Montemurlo to talk about the life and vocation of St. Michael Garicoïts and to define in detail the organization of the World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro.
Here is a report of that day: "It all started with the Holy Mass at 11 am in a friendly and joyful atmosphere. Moments of reflection and sharing were also on the agenda: we were immersed in the life of Saint Michael and we took inspiration from the icon painted by Fr Giancarlo Monzani: the infinite sky Saint Michael was longing to reach and his desire to bring the same happiness to others. He had the courage to give up his comfortable life and live a simple life immersed in the love of Christ.  He said, "Here I am" to the Lord. We too, like him, want to take the risk and start walking towards the future with one certainty: Christ the Redeemer embracing with his mercy all of us from the top of Corcovado, Brazil.
In July, we will be there and looking up we will see Jesus challenging us to go up to him. We, just as St. Michael did, will try and we will not give in to the difficulties and to sin because our motto is: always forward !"
