Inauguration of the Pastoral Year in Saint Felix Parish
Sunday, November 3, the community of Yamoussoukro, with the Faithful of Saint Felix Parish in Sinzibo, celebrated the beginning of the new pastoral year 2013-2014.
Fr. Hervé, the main celebrant, called on Christians to be active in the various movements, associations and prayer groups of the parish. He encouraged people to implement the decisions taken throughout this special year when the 5th anniversary of the foundation of the parish was celebrated.
He took inspiration from the diocesan theme of this pastoral year, “Following in the footsteps of Christ, Prince of Peace, let’s build our diocesan Church”, in order to
reawaken faith and commitment in the pastoral ministry, evangelization, liturgy and self-support. On this occasion the Saint Felix faithful proved their generosity by giving donations towards the parish works (building of the presbytery, repairing of the equipment for the extension and the maintenance of the garden).
